Successful PSL interns!

MSc Paulina Przychodzeń (Gdański Uniwersytet Medyczny, Poland) and BSc Sami Şanlıdağ (Department of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, Ege University, Turkey) who both worked with us as ERASMUS interns in the spring of 2016 had had some recent success connected to their internships.

Sami was admitted to the International Master's Degree Programme in Biomedical Imaging (Abo Akademi University & University of Turku) and granted a scholarship consisting of a fee waiver and excellence award for living expenses! Hope to see you for your MSc project :)

Paulina's MSc thesis entitled “3D-printed substrates as scaffolds with collagen and mesoporous silica nanoparticles for muscle stem cells” which was carried out here with us was selected as the second best MSc thesis in her home university and she won an award of 1000 € for this endeavor.

Huge congrats to both & not the least a huge thanks to our PhD student Ezgi Özliseli who took such good care of them during their research visits on their road to success !!!
